Where to run SeaFoam through PCV Valve on Yukon

I am trying to find out where to run SeaFoam's deep creep into my 2000 Yukon Denali 5.7l Vortec Engine. Does anyone know where I can do this? I have tried spraying it through the Air Intake Tub, but that won't work. I have done it on a Jeep Grand Cherokee before through the PCV valve, but this hose went directly into the Throttle body, on the 5.7 it doesn't look as if this vacuum hose goes into the Throttle body. Does anyone know where I can do this or should I just take the Intake tube off and spray it into the throttle body, and then put the intake back on, then start the engine.

it is a upper engin cleaner for carbon in your engin. cleans pistons valves intakes , you can also put some in your fuel tank, or engin oil . good product

Personally I think it is a waste of money and effort and a bandaid fix on a bigger problem somewhere else.

I'm trying to do the same on a 04 tahoe but I have no PCV, so wheres the brake booster line located on a 04 5.3l?

I really don't have a lot of time to go into detail on this but here's my point: STOP pouring solvents into vacuum hoses of your engines.

 

It will cause a dead cylinder due to the oil being washed away from the rings. The chemical will drain into whatever cylinder(s) nearest the vacuum port of your choosing. I have personally ruined an engine like this, and I was injecting the chemical only during WOT in 5th gear on the hiway, it still didn't vaporize and disperse.

 

Here's what you should do if you must. Unplug your MAF if so equiped, your CEL will come on but don't worry. Remove the air intake tubing a place aside. Start the engine and let it get used to the missing MAF signal, about 20 seconds. Rig up a throttle stop that holds the throttle open just enough to maintain about 2500-3000 RPM at idle. Now SLOWLY (as in one can in 2 and a half minutes) pour the cleaner into the throttle body now sucking massive amounts of air. This will ensure that the entire intake system is cleaned and that all cylinders will recieve the same amount of fluid at a slow enough rate that no cylinder walls get washed away with liquid.

 

Sea Foam makes a product called Deep Creep that is a foam. You fill your intake with it and let it stand overnight etc. It is so light that it won't stay and hydrolock the engine when you go to start it. I reccomend you use this to do what you are all wanting to do.
