Parts Page up and running

Okay, I've been working on this for a while and it's finally to a point that I can publish it. I've put together a list of parts that everyone is changing out on their trucks & SUV's.

I need everyone's help to complete it and make it better, so if you have any part numbers or ideas, email them to me.

Go to my website and you'll see the link at the top middle for Parts.

Jason,

One of my pages has some part numbers I've written down as I've came across them.  Not quite as much "neat" stuff, but use what you want.  I have a P/N for the HD air dam on the Chevrolets around here somewhere.  The one that has the extra opening between the tow hooks.  I think I'm going to get that one for my truck.  I like the Z71 Tahoe, but don't want to have to buy lights too.  I'll see if I can find that P/N.

Is it ok if I put a link to your site, on that site of mine?

Here's my stuff:  http://tommy3z71.homestead.com/part_num.html

Looks good!

A few comments:

1. The Escalade dash bezel won't fit the trucks.  Its squared off more.  I checked into it before I got my Denali bezel.

2. The Silverado and Sierra's have completely different air dams.  The HD air dam will fit the regular Silverados Tom?

3. I was told the only way you can get the matching Denali Window Control Panel is if you get it from the Yukon Denali w/an extra 2 buttons for the back windows.  The C3's don't have them.

4. You might put a note that the lighted visors w/extensions won't exactly fit...before someone orders them and finds out the hard way.

I can't wait for you get the rest of the Denali Part #'s up.  Those mods are very cool!

Anyone know the Part # for the Escalade A/C controls to match the Escalade Head Light Control?  I need a new unit anyway w/the defrost switch to run my Tahoe heated side mirrors.

Great Site Jason!  Your are my mentor.  Most of my mods are based off of your truck!  And some from Randy Folker's http://204.26.91.118:2000/mods/mods_on_silverado.htm

I

will get my website up and running this weekend sometime.

For anyone intrested in the Tahoe Side mirrors mod, I have a 2002 Escalade drivers side mirror for sale on eBay.  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=593615505

Yes, they will.  This is Bob Prim's truck with the air dam.

well, I put together all the part numbers so everyone doesn't have to keep asking around and hunting for the same numbers. I put the numbers up for everyone, not just for Sierra's and Silverado's. There's a lot of stuff people with Tahoe's and such can do as well.

I just put together a bunch of parts that everyone always talks about. I need everyone's input to find out what will and what won't (Escalade Bezel) fit.

I guess I should put a disclaimer at the top of the page that says that this is just part numbers and not a guarantee that it'll fit on everyone's truck, but I'm trusting that if someone is hunting for a part number, they have at least some knowledge of how to go about installing it.

Chane, about the Escalade AC switches. You can't just swap them out, it's a completely different system and won't work the same. It would be cool though to get the AC nobs. I'd have to find who makes the controls and ask them about knobs.

Tom, thanks for the pn. I'll add that to the list and post it Monday. Can't post from Home connection, it's way too slow.

No problem Jason.  That part number was from a post that Bob made at the Pacific site, so I'm sure it's a good number.  The idea of a disclaimer is a good idea.  I should do that on mine too.

Thanks for the info J.  Very helpful!  I would be interested in the AC and headlight nobs as well....as well as the top of the Denali center console...anyone know if that can be mated to the Silverado center console, or do you need the whole center stack?  That would look a lot better in a leather interior than the hard plastic variety.

That is a really nice feature Jason. Could you find out the part number for the Tahoe Z71 front painted bumper please?

I checked into those grilles, I have a black truck and I was I contacted GM about those same numbers. The grille is not completely painted it still has the chrome strip. I got the grille from the new Suburban Z71, its all black part number 15770033.
