Aww, that's a shame. I was hoping the cat really *did* hit the wall.

 

But now that you mention it, there should be some doppler shift to the meow sounds as the cat circles, but the meow's are more like they were done with the microphone right at the cat's mouth. Plus, who hangs a ball of yarn from their fan and then asks the cat to come here (offscreen)?

 

So the sounds were probably fabricated by somebody who thought they could get away with faking us all out. That really ruins it.

I have a buddy that would hang some of his wifes panty-hose from the ceiling fan, and his cat would do the same thing...Except with a much lower RPM on the fan..It was still freakin' hilarious.
