Lifting an HD

I looking into lifting my 2001 HD about 6 inches,any body have any sugestions? any problems? etc. Any little bit will help point me in the right direction. Thanks

I would go with a full drop kit like Pro Comps 6" kit. I have it and I like it alot. I cranked it up to 8" and Just fit 40" Iroks on it.

Collector, got any pics...I've seen your truck on 37's... what size wheel did you go with and what width Irok...I am considering them, but am skeptical of their on-road ride.

I am running 20X9 Panther Juice 8's with 39.5X13.5X20 Irok radials. This dia tire will only work because it is narrow(front dam needed cut). My 37's fit with a ton of clearance and I ran a 17X8 wheel. As far as ride quality, the iroks are smother and less noisy the my 37 BFG muds. I will try to get some pics tomarrow with the Iroks.
