I applaude your effort but you are NEVER going to get that question answered accurately here.

Everyone who has a Westers will tell you they are thrilled with it. So will everyone who has a PCM for Less.

Unless Lyndon and Neslon come face to face on a dragstrip or dyno with the exact same vehicle that question will not be answered.

If you absolutely need to be sure before you buy take advise only from those who can back it up with dyno charts. Every other opinion will be just that, an opinion.

Whatever you do, get one. You won't be sorry you did.

(pssst.......Westers is better  )

Westers= 3mpg better, 1.2 seconds in 1/4mile, infinitely better drivability, unbeatable lifetime warranty.

ALL ELSE PALE IN COMPARISON.

Lyndon has over twice the experience of his next biggest competitor....

Hmmm.......

Why would you say get a real answer :D

Go buy whatever tuner you like, tweak it till you're blue in the face, get your best numbers, then pop a Wester's in there and you, too, will see the light

I have a 2004 2500HD w/HP Tuners.

There really aren't that many variables that *should* be changed unless you are doing something major, like a charger or cam swap. If you just want the most amount of power from a mechanically stock engine or a stock engine with headers and intake, I recommend buying a PCM from whomever is cheaper. Like I said, there aren't too many things that *should* be changed, so I would say all replacement PCM's would be the same on a *STOCK* engine. Once you break away from a mechanically stock engine, then the experience and knowledge of the person programming it comes into play.

On a truck like mine...all stock...any replacement PCM would yield ~20HP on 87 octane and 30HP on 93 Octane.

I've got a pcmforless tune. Been working w/ Bryan for a while, he is a very reputable person and I've always been able to contact him / get a reply to an email whenever I needed one.

I put a LT1/4L60-e in a 89 s-10 and converted it to a LT4, Bryan helped me out however he could to get the truck right, even after I bought LT1edit and started tuning myself.

I also put his 87/89 tune in my 00 silvy and felt a huge difference, my heiny dyno won't produce any numbers, but the grin factor was immediate. He even retuned it for my shift kit.

If you have questions about the tunes themselves, I would contact the people individually, ask them questions that you want answered, then wait for their reply. Get a warm and fuzzy for one or the other and go with them. Not sure about wester's but pcmforless has dyno graphs proving their work and a forum to discuss things.

good luck.
