i am sorry about my power wagon post

it seems as though the post i made about the dodge power wagon has

taken on a life of its own. to be completely honest i could NEVER own

a truck other than a CHEVY. i guess my original post was just to say

that the new power wagon was very aggressive looking. when

i drive i feel a sort of brotherhood with other chevy truck owners, and

i could NEVER envision myself in anything but a chevy. i know this

is weird, but i will not own a gmc. i know they come off the same

line blah, blah, blah, but to me it's not a chevy. i felt this love of

camaros and chevy trucks since being a little kid, and i guess it

just stays in your blood. so as to my original post, SCREW dodge

and ford and most of all the new nissan. LONG LIVE CHEVY :D:):chevy::flag::chevy:

Don't worry about it. We need to stay up on what the comp. has out there too. It will only help us get GM to make our trucks better and offer us more options.

Why? The Power Wagon is pretty sweet, lockers, solid axles, a winch, 3/4 frame, whats not to like? Pretty awesome of Dodge to even have the balls to offer that and the Rubicon. And like someone else said, unfortunately, its a Dodge, which I agree with. Theres probably nothing that could make me buy one. But the new super dutys, fugedaboutit. Them things really are awesome. I'm GM guy all the way, but if I wanted a new truck to build and take offroading, it'd be a new f-350. That'd be if I was rich of course, otherwise it'll be another older chevy. With the Chevys continuing to look worse and worse (really, the new fords and dodges keep getting better looking, the chevys haven't looked good since 02, imho), I have no excitement about getting a new truck.

I guess I am partially to blame for the run away Power Wagon post but….so what. I am a GM guy too but don’t let your product loyalty overshadow the obvious deficiencies with our brand of choice. The Power Wagon is only one example of such deficiencies where GM is missing out. V8 Rear wheel drive cars are another. Fleet and commercial trucks is another....the list goes on.

Regardless if we like it, willing to admit it, or not….GM is gradually spiraling down the tubes in regards to product innovation, creativity, work ready, and delivering a tasteful must have vehicles. SSR is certainly not one of them.

Here is a PIC of a 2006 Power Wagon. At least DXC put a tasteful face on the first light makeover of their latest truck unlike GM did in 2003. I know, I know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some like the 2003 and later Chevrolet while most don’t.
