I lease a 04 silverado ext cab z71 (6 months old with 6000 miles)

 

This week I have a 05 sierra ext z71 rental (1 week old)...it has the rear drums

 

my truck, the brakes almost go to the floor and several people (including my mechanic) mentioned how bad they feel

 

the rental with the rear drums has a sensitive "good" feeling brake pedal

 

second, i have not heard ANY transmission thumps...my truck feels like the tranny is going to drop out...my truck is embarassing (being brand new) when i have passengers because the thump is soo harsh.

 

I have brought my truck in and they said its normal...i duno how it can be normal...should i take it elsewhere??

My 05 sierra z71 thumps into gear at times. Only 3,000 miles on her too. I have a list of complaints compiled. Small stuff really. But she's going back for a checkup soon.
