Wester's pcm

How many of you that have done the westers pcm tow with your truck? and when i say tow i mean like 5th wheel toy hauler or similar trailer weight somewhere in the 12 -13,000 lb range?

what type of tune did you go with and did you get the results you were looking for?

For towing you don't want the "Hot" tune... I had the 87 Octane tune in my 6.0L and it made an improvement both when towing and empty.

tfsh, shaners, ANY Wester's tune can be tweaked for just about any situation. You just need to make sure and tell your rep EXACTLY what you'll be doing, and a tune will be made to work for YOUR situation.

Hot tunes aren't generally recommended for big towing, but they can be tweaked to work just fine. While I don't tow more than 6~7000lbs, I've got a 91/93 hot tune and have absolutely no issues

I have the 93 Wester's and I tow. My camper is about

8000#, not as much as your's. Just make sure you tell

Lyndon or your rep about how many miles and how much

weight you pull.
