Nav intall gone good....

Put Tnr Nav in a 2004 Tahoe Lt W/Bose sysetem (non-Lux amp)

 

Putting the Gps antenna was a bit of a challange. Once I figured out what I had to do to get the dashboard cover off, it was simple. After I figured what hold the cover on, removing and installing antenna then putting back together was about a 10 minute job. I put the nav unit in and "Theftlock Activated" displayed on the screen. I ventured to the dealer today , not alot going on there on a Saturday.

Ask the service rep what it would cost to unlock. He got the Tech 2 scanner hooked it up and in 2 minutes had a working nav unit. NO CHARGE. Think if it would have been a busy week day I may have been charged. He then asked were I got the nav unit, told him bought it off E-bay. He thought that was pretty cool and said have a good day..........
