What is aWesterns Custom Tune?

I keep seeing Westerns custom tunes on this site and it was recomended to me.

I have a 2005 chevy truck with the 5.3

 

Just looking for a full explanation of what it is, what it does and how much is it.

Actually it's "Westers".

 

Lyndon Wester in Canada will custom tune a PCM (power control module) computer for whatever conditions your request. More power, torque managment removel, higher shift points, larger tires etc...

 

Prices vary depending on the model year of the truck.

 

Do a search on the net for "Westers Garage" and you'll come across his website.

 

I had a Westers Program in my '01 6.0L HD, and it made a big difference!

Wester's is one of a few "custom tuners".

 

They take the stock ECMs and modify different parameters inside, things like fuel and spark curves, torque management reduction, transmission controls, adjust for aftermarket tires and engine goodies, type of gas you'll run... all sorts of good things !!!
