O2 Sensor change

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have been reading about allot of people getting better performance/MPG after changeing O2 sensors. I would have never thought of changing these without it tripping the SES light. What is a good time to change these? I currently have 65K miles on my 2003 tahoe. Should I go ahead and change mine?

I am only talking about the front 2 sensors.

Thanks

On my '04 Silverado I had the SES light come last night as I had my foot to the floor passing a couple of vehicles. Took it to my dealer this morning and sure enough I had a bad 02 sensor.....so it was replaced. I only have 50,000 kms on the truck.

If it aint broke, don't fix it. If you do, you risk breaking it.
