header problem with 5.3L

I'm looking for advice on my 2000 Silverado. As I went to install Gibson shorty headers, I noticed there wasn't a exhaust manifold bolt on the driver's side, far aft hole. In fact, when I took the manifold off, I noticed the hole was not even threaded. Figuring this was normal, I installed the headers and sure enough, I get a serious leak behind the driver's side, aft cylinder.

Has anyone else ran into this and if you have, what did you do? I don't know if I should find someone to thread the block or not?

  Remote window operation is on. Your fob is being activated in your pocket and is putting pressure on the unlock long enough to trigger the remote window down feature. You can turn it off in the vehicle settings. Or, if you want it on, consider changing where you are putting your key fob on your person.

  After nearly 3 years of waiting I finally got rid of the chrome wheels. They were just too much. Next are the factory running boards. Very functional and sturdy but too bulky and they stick way out. Just my opinion anyway.

  Do you have the second key fob? If so, wrap the one you have been using in foil or take it to 100 feet or more away from the truck. Drive the truck with the other fob for a few days to see if it still happens. If it appears to be caused by the fob, maybe the button is stuck on (I think it’s the unlock button that lowers the windows if you hold it down). I have had that happen a couple of times on other cars due to the button getting pressed by something in my pocket. More often the panic alarm has been pressed. I try to carry only the fob in that pocket now.
