needing some help

Hi guys i was told to come over to this site to post this question i have. I will admit that i am primarily a ford man but i also own a 1994 astro ext. Here is my queation. I was driving on the highway the other day and ran over a sleeping bag that fell out the back of a pickup. After this happened it took me about 1hour to untangle it from the driveshaft. About 3 miles down the road smoke started to come out of the back end. Upon inspection i found the smoke to be coming from a rubber line that attaches to the top of the trans. The other end had been cut and i cannot find where it goes. If anyone has a pic it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any info you guys can give me. :chevy::seeya:

Sounds like the vent tube, if it has been cut (by the sleeping bag) probably would need replaced. Which would require finding the attached end and removing it. The loose end points up into the engine bay (I think).
