smog pump

i have a 99 gmc serria with a 4.3 has ac, if i get a belt for a non ac truck can i bypass my smog pump with that???

[i had no clue they were still running airpumps on that 4.3 That is totally ridiculous. Do anything you can to bypass that p.o.s.
