i have the gibson extrem duels on my 03 SS and i like it a lot. but on there site it gives a db increase in cab, belive it can drone a bit , but it dose not bother me. i also have just put on a set of TOGS amout 2 weeks ago and a lot of the drone it gone. i don't know if they make a set for the 8.1 if you go headers, go mid or long tube don't gut/remove your cats and i think you'll be happy. IMO

if you do anything with your cats make sure you have some ear plugs with you, becouse that gibson system will be LOUD with that 8.1

I have gibson shorties due to CA. smog and a magnaflow dual in and out with dumps sounds more of a deep rumble then a old lady yelling.
