Has anyone added Lumbar to their seats?

I had it in my last tahoe, and not this one.. Has anyone added this to their current seats?

I couldnt think it would be hard, add a inflatable bag behind the cloth, and a pump, a porer source and a switch..

Right? :driving:

It isn't standard? I thought we all (NBS) had the round manual knob, guess not... The hard part would be keeping the bag in place, factory looking switch and not overinflating the bag so that it bursts, maybe a release valve...

Nope not standard... :driving:

My thoughts are Velcro to hold it in place

Switch, well even if it was not an oem look, I think I can make something fit in same spot, and look nice with a little bit of work

Well what is currently used to make sure they dont over inflate? Im not so much concerned about that... for by the time its that full I think I will have enough lumbar! :P

The bags probably have some sort of pressure relief valve that keeps them from being overinflated. And nope, not ALL of our trucks have them. I'm trying to recall but I don't think my '04 Z71 does (haven't used it more than once if it does). The '03 Trailblazer LT had power lumbar and my '04 Malibu LT has the manual handle lumbar. I kinda thought it was more penny-pinching (along with the missing glove box / underhood lights, etc.).

:driving: One of my "to-do" (or maybe it's "want to do" now that I've got a high chance of seeing $4k+ going into my daughter's dental work in the near future?) items is to upgrade my interior with some Katzkins custom leather seating surfaces, including seat heaters. It might be nice to incorporate the missing lumbar when I do. It'd definitely be nice to have someone else's experiences to learn from when / if I do.

Welcome back Taaaaaaahoe? I am very interested in hearing how it goes. They appear not to have anything for my 04 Sierra, I am wondering if I can get what you use to fit in my seat. I desperately need something, it is my only real complaint about my truck. If I want to sit in a la-z-boy I will go watch tv.
