installed 3" spindles on 2wd

girlfriend left me so i spent my saturday night jacking up the truck! haha.

i was tired of how low my sierra was, i couldnt even fit under the nerf bars to change the oil. my friends with their 2wd fords and dodges tower over me which is wrong because im the tallest guy in the group. so i ordered a set of rough country 3" spindles. $303 shipped i think it was. i chose these suckers so i could keep my stock rims and run larger tires (up to 285/85/16s according to rough country). right now i have 265/70s so with the lift it doesnt look bad, but im def gonna get the 285s come tiretime.

i started at 8 and finished at 12. i only got one side done but thats all i was planning on. i had a pretty exhausting day so i knew i was gona move in slow motion. i also replaced the upper balljoints. install went pretty well all in all. had some trouble with the lower bj, but i hear everyone does.

well tomorrow morning ill do the other side, should take me half as long, and snap some pics to post. it definitely makes the 2wds look stonger.

im pretty tired so apolgies for any misspellings or left out words, im gonna get the hay so i can finish the other side tomorrow morn

Blocks in the rear or no?

yea, i already had 2" blocks in the rear so bringing up the front was a must. ifinished this morning. it looks pretty good, im happy. the ride is pretty good too with the stock shocks. the wheels were way out of alignment (they were pretty bad before the spindles too) so right now its getting an alignment. i went to tires plus and they told me the alignment was $64.99, did some bargaining and got them all the way down to $39.99. as soon as i get it back ill snap some pics and post them.
