Minor Problems

I have a couple of problems on my 2001 Suburban that I'd like to fix. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions as to what the problem is likely to be and as to whether the solutions will end up being expensive.

 

1) AC Fan: it doesn't run in fan position "1" (low). The rest of the fan speeds work properly. This happens regardless of whether the AC button is on or off.

 

2) Horn: My horn, which has always sounded pretty weak, stopped working altogether (I never realized how much I use my horn until it broke). I hope the fix is just a new horn so I don't have to track down some sort of electrical gremlin.

 

3) Seat Rattle: my middle row seat and front passenger seat have a bit of a rattle when they're unoccupied. I can reduce this by making sure the seat belts are properly retracted and laying flat. Has anyone else found a good way to mitigate this problem?

1. sounds like the blower resistor pack

2. check fuses and then for voltage at the horn itself

On #2 - it might be the relay also.

Re #2, someone on here had his horn fill up with water. The first time, he bought a new one. The second time he flushed it out with WD-40 I think and it worked again. You might want to check for that.
