Horn Broke? Help

My horn does not work no more, i was blowing it the other day and it just quit...i replaced the relay switch in the electronic box under the hood, any mores fuses anywhere i can check?

Its the horn head unit. Mine went too. Like 25 bucks at chevy dealer. Mine was mounted in front of radiator.

It just means you used up your limit on horn usage.

 

To buy more horn usage just go to your local dealership and buy a new truck.

Therer are two horns on the truck, a high note and a low note horn. One behind and below each headlight. Mine on the passenger side (I don't remember if it is high or low note horm) went out. Had to pull off the airbox to get at it. I found a new one at NAPA for $13.00. I checked the Chevy dealer and they wanted something like $65 for it.

I replaced both from my dealer for $28.65. But im sure stealers vary. Zmight be better to go to your local parts store. However, I suggest you change both now, even if only one went out.

Did you check the fuse...they have problems with the 10 fuse blowing when the horn would ingest water....there was a TSB on it and they made a new version.

I changed out my number 10 fuse to a 15 and haven't had a problem since...

Thanks for the info guys, im definatly going to try the fuse first, but my luck it will be one of those under the headlights. Im going to check tomorrow, ill keep yall posted...

When mine went out it was the clockspring in the steering column. It would only work when the wheel was in certain positions.
