After cleaning my truck up this weekend i have noticed my hood has taken a major beating since i ve got my truck... Its been hit by small hail storms, big stones plus my last house had a tree problem so it has sap all over it as well..

So what has taken the most beating on your truck since you've got it??

Tires get beat up from all the different things we drive on, gravel roads really chew them up.  Those gravel roads also play havoc on the windshield, always getting chips on it.  Two are in it now.  While this truck has its tailgate in great shape still, they tend to get beat up somewhat from all sorts of things.

after today i have to say tailgate and pass side of truck.  Played some football today and my truck was in the street.  My brother went to punt and it shanked off his foot right into the side of my truck at point blank range.  Couldnt believe it.  No dent however WHEW.  Then 20 min later he put one into the tailgate whichscratched it. Game ended after that

Tailgate does have alot of scratches in it

The plastic vent covers at the base of the windshield.  I was chipping ice off my windshield one year and cracked the cover and busted the end off.

The area that new rocker panels would cover from the wider tires spitting gravel and tar up.  Also the drivers seat on the side where the back-lift lever is.

I'll put down another vote for the rocker panels.  Mine are all beaten up, scraped from driving through stubble fields, and chipped up from rocks, etc.  The bed is pretty beat up too, but that don't matter.  Its there for a reason, and its not to look pretty.  LOL

hONESTLY......?   Well guess it would have to be the drivers seat.  At 250 lbs it takes a beating, plus all the in and outting takes its toll on the side bolsters.  Previous owner of the vette destroyed the drivers seat so I try not to abuse the one in the truck tooo much.btw I did infact replace the seats in the vette and alls I can say is that I hope, if the time ever comes that the truck seats need replacing they won't require another mortgage.

After 4 1/2 months and 2200 miles I'm happy to say there are no marks on the outside of my truck.  With three kids though, the windows on the back doors are always covered with hand prints...  LOL
