where do i look to see what transmission i have. i think i have the 4L60E. not for sure. 2002 sierra 2wd 5.3.

You should have the 4L60E trans look on the side of the trans is should be cast into the trans on the pass side or driver side of the trans in pretty big it will read exactly 4L60E!

Like mentioned above. Peep the RPO sheet and look for the code M60. That would be a treasured 4L60E.

The rpo sheet is in the glove box right?? If so i didnt see m60. there was a m30 on there

Yea. Im stupid. I got part of 4L60 confused with that trans code.
