Backup Sensor Module install

i have a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali, and would like to put the Escalade style reverse sensor system in. I would guess that the wiring harness should be ready for the GM module to be installed, can anyone help with this?

 

I figure I can purchase replacement sensors, module and dash fittings from the caddy parts bin, but I dont know where to put the module and such.

You would guess wrong then. They don't put in harnesses for things that the vehicle didn't come with. Maybe a single power connector here and there, a ground maybe.

 

I assume you're talking about the "Rear parking assist" system? the one that has the 4 little circular sensors across the bumper? Not a very useful system if you ask me. Unless you're used to backing up at 1/1000th of a mile an hour, they don't help much.

 

I think your money would be better spent on a camera system to view what's behind you.
