Denali/Escalade/Yukon??

I am new here and would like to ask a question from you guys/girls.  I own a 96 Sub and it has been problem free best of all paid for.  I am looking at a new vehicle and have looked at the Denali/Yukon and Escalade.  I have to say the Escalade is pretty nice .  But with the exception of maybe 3-4 different options the Denali is right there with it.  Now a Yukon LT is right below that.  My question is, is the Cadi worth the $52K tag?? Or should I just look at the Denali for about $48K or an LT for maybe $45k.  Which do you think looks nicer?  Anyone out there that had compared all three.  thanks

I gotta ask, just what do you get for the extra $$ I have a 02 Suburban LS, with the LS pkg and Leather, the next step up would be LT, other than filling the dash hole that I have with Onstar (that is only paid for for year 1), and memory seats, the rest is just jazz, I really do not need or care if my mirrors are the same color as the truck (for example), for me I keep the extra $$ and do more with it, like get a new laptop for the kids to watch DVDs on during our long drives/trips -- ####, paying for those long trips!

Good luck, what ever you choose I expect you'll like it, it have the extra $$ to blow and you are happy, get the most you can (I guess I just played both sides of that).

I have seen several "factory officials" low milage Escalades on dealer lots lately.  They were probably driven by the "big guys" wife or something...  You could probably pick up one of them for the price of a Denali or Suburban LT.  The upside of the Escalade is the bigger motor and 345 HP.  The downside is that it likes to drink premium fuel...

I love the LT package.  I stepped up from an LS with leather to the LT and I really like the heated leather and the memory seats.

You guys have a point on spending the extra $$ on other goodies. I guess what I like more aout the Cadi is that it is different I like that big front end. Nowadays all vehicles are so simmilar. I know that since I have done certin personal touchups to my Burban that I now see others with the same look. I really cant see spending that amount of money on a vehicle.  Right now I am leaning toward the Denali but the LT is a close second.  I think I may just wait to see if the 03 will change any.  Anyone know if they will??  Also thanks for the imput

DAR....I Hab Sam question ubu!

My wife will graduate from school in May (hats off guys it was a long trek for her)...That being said:  She gets her coice of new auto's.  Presently she is driving her 1994 Honda Passport.

{I anger her by calling it a Honda Rodeo..but that's what it is}

Anyhow I told her that she gets whatever she wants.  She was wanting a Yukon, then she saw the Envoy.  I am hoping she picks the Yukon (my luck she will say...."oh yeah..I like that GMC truck I saw, but it wasn't a Yukon, it was a Denali")

She may like the Envoy better but to me it's just an S-10.  Even if it isn't.  I do not like her Passport - - It's too much like a cheap Isuzu pickup inside.

Anybody know what I am gonna have to come up with to get her the Yukon LT?

I believe it's all about what you want. If you like to tinker with your vehicles (like me), then it may be more fun (and cheaper) to get the Yukon, and add the personal touch stuff over time. I know I've done so much to my truck that there isn't very many on the road like mine. Yes, mine still looks like a Silverado, but it's all the other jazz that no one else has.

Now, if you don't want to mess with the tinkering, then get the Denali/Escalade. They come with everything and look awesome!!

I'm torn between the Denali and the Escalade. They are almost the same, but I think I like the Denali better.

It's about what you want.

I think the Denali is well wortht it.. Friend of mine just got one and has twicw the luxury and comfort plus stayed up with me N/A racing.. That means he is running mid 15`s off the showroom floor..

I VOTE Denali!

The Cadillac is a beast with the 6.0 liter engine, it's a lot like the Vette's 5.7.  The AWD on the Cadillac is also an advantage if you're somewhere where you need it.  Here in Salt Lake there are a ton of 'Burbs/Denalis and Tahoes and it's almost refreshing to see an Escalade.

On the other hand you can't get a Suburban-sized Escalade if you're looking for that much room.

I personally have the Avalanche and it has the same differences with the Escalade EXT that a Denali would have.  I personally don't see myself driving a Cadillac, (I'm only 22) and $15 K more for just about the same vehicle is a big deal.  I would suggest getting an Escalade with a couple thousand miles on it.  To me all of the advantages of getting an Escalade would be worth getting a slightly used vehicle for the same price as a brand new Denali.
