Hello everyone. Been searching on the net for the last couple of days but can't seem to find where I can get a 160 thermostat for my 2005 Silverado. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Have a nice day.

A 160 will set codes and make your truck run poorly. I suggest a 180Deg.

You obviously live in an area that doesn't require heat. From what I have read, in these warmer climates, truck will run above 160 even without a thermostat. The stock system was designed for over 200. To get it down under 160 you need a bigger radiator.

Search the many threads on this low a temp before you decide. It is generally not a good idea to run that cold. Not much power gain and worst mileage, more pollution, and more engine wear from the unburned fuel.

Unless your using this engine for experimental (off road) use it's a really bad idea.
