Hi, i'm thinking of going with a aftermarket wheel for winteruse will a 16x7 work on my 2003 GMC 2500 HD 4x4 ? will i have to cut anything ?how much offset is ok with out hirting my truck ? these wheels are the black Daytona wheel type and am not sure if there is any offset or not plus will 1/2 in. stick out anuff so i'm going to have crap thrown up on the side of my truck ? and will there be any problem with warrenty work with this kind of wheel ? thanks !

I believe you need 4 1/2" backspacing, but that's with a 8" wide wheel. I don't think it'll any different for a 7", just won't sit out so much. Not that they do, they're flush with the fender flares. just my thoughts.
