squealing during startup

Sometimes when I start my truck I'll get a squealing sound. Usually after I've gone through some deeper water. Or if it's extremely humid and/or rained alot. I'm assuming it's due to mosture on a belt, but how can I fix/prevent this form happening? I can't always help having to drive through the deeper water or mud, kind of a job curse/perk...

Take the belt off, examine it to make sure it's sound, clean out all the pulleys that are grooved with a wire brush, put the belt back on turned around so you've changed the direction the belt travels. See if that helps.

Thanks, I see you got a 95 1/2 ton. Had one myself. Put 33" under with some other slight tweaks. no lift. Miss the instant throttle response comparred to the new throttle cable system I got now. How's your mileage, I averaged about 14. Don't waste any money on a Tornado. I bought one for around $70, did nothing. A K&N air filter did help. Real easy to bypass muffler with 3 feet of straight pipe for some grunt. Doesn't hurt performance as far as I could tell.
