I hope this question ain't as dumb as it sounds... I got a 2003 2500HD with plow prep package, That button on the dash right of the heater controls, I was trying to find out how to get to that wiring. I like to hook up some "A-hole" lights (lights to fend off tailgaters) and I'd like to use the switch that's already there. I no longer have any plans to use this truck for plowing. (haven't used it yet)

Any help?

Don't see many trucks with the snowplow option down here in South Florida  so I've never even seen whatever it is you're talking about.

When you turn the switch on listen. You will here the relay click. On the reg cabs it is in the pillar behind the drivers seat (Bpillar ???). I don't know where it is on other cab configs. Remove that cover and you will see the wires from the relay they go up into the head liner. You can splice into them just above the relay and run the wire out the rear cabin vent to where ever you want them. The wires will terminate in the center of the headliner. Some have had success removing the center mount brake light and fishing the wires out there.
