Heater blower stays on

Hello everyone,

 

First of all Happy Thanksgiving.

 

Okay so today I jumped in the truck and ran up to get a newspaper. When I arrived at the store I turned off my truck and when I did I noticed my heater was still going full bore with the key completly out of the ignition. I thought to myself, hmmmmm.

 

Once I got the paper and jumped back in the truck it was still going strong and I hadn't even put the key in yet. So I started the truck and drove home thinking it will turn off once I get home and turn everything off. Of course I was wrong and it stayed on full blast.

 

I then tried messing with the controls only to find that didnt help at all either. It stays on even when the climate control is off and the heater is set to off.

 

The only way I was able to get it to turn off was to remove the blower fuse located under the hood.

 

At that point I tossed my hands in the air and said UNCLE. Any ideas as to what might be causing this issue??

 

Cant get to the dealer until Monday so I guess I am going to manually put the fuse back in when ever I need heat.

 

Any help or thoughts would be great
