What do you think of it. I'm considering getting this for my truck. I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3 Z71 Ext Cab. How loud is it in the cab at idle/when you're on it/highway speeds? I want something somewhat loud, but not while on the highway, only when I stand on it. I want that muscle car sound. Does anyone have any pics they could send me of their truck with this installed? Also does anyone have some real numbers of horspower/torque gains. I don't want to lose any low end grunt, with this type of exhaust, will I?

  Ok well I guess Lake disagrees with me on a few points. I call oil consumption pretty basic. Rudimentary. He calls it "really complicated." I think 1qt consumed in 3k miles is a lot. He says that's normal. In 22 minutes, he'll use his natural talent to explain oil consumption to anyone watching this video. He covers everything from obvious engine damage to how normally functioning healthy engines consume oil by design. Lake explicitly states how you drive will impact oil consumption. Shut up and watch:

  Check for broken bolts holding the exhaust manifolds to the heads, common problem. Dorman makes a repair piece if you find you have broken 1s and don't want to do the surgery to replace them

  My dealer says it's the 6.6 from the HD modified for the 1500's. So, my money's on the 6.7.
