Adding AutoDim Driver Side Mirror

99 Silverado LS with factory power mirrors & defrost but NO heat.

 

I just searched 21 pages worth to try to answer this question to no avail. I want to install heated & driver side dimming exterior mirrors to the above truck.

 

I have learned I could add just heat easily, basically plug & play with the current setup on the truck. My question is what needs to be done to get the driver side dimmer to work? The truck did not come with an interior dimming rear view from the factory but I have added one to the harness I found in the mini console so it has one now.

 

Also, the mirrors I want have puddle lamps. Will these automatically start working or is there something to do there as well?

 

EDIT: I do not want the new signal curb assist type. Just heat and dimming--I know 02 Suburbans have these.
