annoying wind noise

When I reach speeds of 70mph, wind starts blowing inot my cab, more than normal, it seems to be focused on the two extended cab pop out widows. Is there anything I can do about this?

They made an updated rear window for the early new body style trucks because of wind noise. My '99 does it. You could replace the windows and frame with the new ones but it will be pricey.

Would those wind deflectors help at all?

I think the rain deflectors make it worse...........so does the bug shield. Turn up the stereo

Well either get a thicker kind if you can, or maybe it's just wearing out. My dad's 01 excb had bad wind noise, and i just took some silicone to the weatherstripping that had started to hang, no more wind noise.

The dealer fix was to run a screw in the black latch to the window frame and pull the latch in to the door and letting the latch pull tighter. My dealer did it on my 2000 and no more noise.
