OnStar Nametags

I have the OnStar in my GMC and I have stored a few nametags but now I want to delete one but I can not find information on how to delete. The book does not say anything about deleting nametags. Does anyone know how to delete a saved nametag? I just really want to get rid of someones number right now....

You know Mike your right,theres nothing in the manual about deleting them,I would just call On-Star from your truck and ask the advisor how to delete one.

Ill give that a try Rich. Will I just push the blue OnStar logo or would i contact OnStar through my personal calling help menu? Thanks.

Just push the blue OnStar button and when an advisor comes on just ask him/her how you delete a nametag.I wouldn't go into the personal calling menu unless you have too because it might use some of your minutes,You could even call the 800 number also from your home if you want.

Thanks Rich, I figured it would be the blue button. Ill give it a try later and Ill post what they tell me.

Ok I just pushed my blue button and learned how to delete nametags, here it is....

Push your phone button.

At the OnStar Ready prompt, say DELETE.

OnStar responds...Nametag Please.

You say the Nametag to be deleted.

OnStar says Yes or No.

You say YES.

My personal advisor told me to look in the OnStar book or on the OnStar website for information on how to delete nametags, I looked at each and did not see anything about deleting nametags.
