newbie Question

Hi there everybody, new to this but here goes with my question. I just bought a 2006 1500 HD crew cab with a sun roof and I wanted to put roof clearance lights on as an after install, when I checked with my dealer who checked with GM they said that I could not. There is enough room in front of the sun roof for the lights but the dealer said the two options can not be put on the same truck, can anybody help me with this. Thanks

I have a '05 Sierra w/o a sunroof, and have just installed factory clearance lights. Based on measurements of a 1500HD the middle marker is 3" from the edge of the top window gasket, and 4.25" from the edge of the window gasket for the two ends, and 4" inside from the doors. From there, you should be able to see if it'll sit nicely. Be sure to get the factory harness and lights - all plug and play, no splicing!
