tranny fluid leak

i have a 95 jimmy that is leaking tranny fluid from the vent tube, that is located next to the tranny filler tube.it only seems to leak after about 15 to 20 minutes of highway driving.when it leaks it runs down the passenger side of the bellhousing on the exaust leaving a trail of smoke behind me.i read that it may be the transfer case vacuum switch that is the problem and the fluid is bypassing the switch and overflowing the transfer case.kinda make sence because the tranny and transfer case are vented in the same vent tube.any one else have this problem.thanks in advance.jody

[changed the transfer case vaccuum switch and it seems to be working fine.there isn't any tranny fluid blowing out of the vent tube anymore.when i had the skid plat off to replace the vacuum switch i checked the transfer case fluid level and it was about 3 to 4 quarts over full.i'm guessing that some how the fluid was being pulled out of the tranny into the transfer case.the front diff accuator under the battery also had fluid in it as well as the vacuum canister on the under side of the hood.i hope this is the end of my problems.
