Is the slip joint located under the "accordian" type boot? Is there a grease fitting or do you need to take it apart?

So I take it that you have a 4x4 WITH A 2 PIECE REAR DRIVESHAFT right? My '03 is a 2WD but has a slip joint too. Mine dose not have any type of dust boot. There is a zerk on MY truck about 3" from the front of the rear shaft, are you confused yet?

Yep, my silverado is a long bed extend cab. The driveshaft is 2 piece. Right behind the carrier bearing is a boot with 2 clamps on it. Is this the slip joint? Is there a way to remove the boot to lube the slip joint without destroying the boot?
