4x2 to 4x4

hello, i got a 84 GMC 1500, i really want a 4x4 truck, anyone know what parts are required to convert it to a 4x4 and how much roughly i would be lookin at,? my Unlce is a mechanic and will help me do everything so its just the parts i need, any help? is it even worth doing? or should i just buy a new truck, i love my 1500 though thanks for the info.

Unless you have the 4x4 frame you cant do the job. Trade it n or buy another.

Ditto...If you want a 4x4, buy a 4x4.

 

You can lift the 84 2wd with Fabtech
