EZPASS & Late Model Tahoe?

Does the interior windshield mount Ezpass (NJ turnpike, etc) work in the 2001 and later Tahoe?

I see "Shaded Solar-Ray" on my windshield, and that raises the question.

Also, does the transmitter effect radar dectors?

Don't know about EZPASS but my Valentine 1 works excellently behind the windishield tint band above the rear view mirror, and I get real good rear & side detections as well ... so, I don't think there is any metallic tint, but if there isn't I wonder how they keep it (ie, the side/rear deep oem tint) from fading since the aftermarket tint installers seem to always say the only tint that will never fade is metallic.
