Just got wati4me tune

I just installed my wait4meperformance tuned computer, I asked for improved MPG and power, firmer shifts, tire size correction, and used for towing.

I did not get any error codes, I performed the procedure of varying speed and deceleration to hopefully do the crank relearn.

The speedometer is now accurate, I can feel firmer shifts and at a little higher rpm. When passing it does seem to have better response and quicker acceleration. According to the computer my indicated MPG at 65 MPH on the flat was 15-16. Now it indicates 18-19. Under WOT it shifts at about 5300 rpm.

So, overall I am happy, money well spent.

Howdy,

I also got my W4Me PCM today. I have the same results as you and if I keep mine floored it will shift at 5,800 rpms. It really has a good kick down passing gear now. I dont have any check engine lights on either. I am very satisfied with the service and the performance increase. Have a goodun!!

I finally got a chance to tow my Toy Box this weekend with the 295, 17's and computer flash. It appears that my gas mileage increased while towing. In towhaul mode it holds the rpm longer, keeping it in its power band. I also noticed that whith the cruis control set at about 60, when I approched a hill, it would down shift sooner, keeping the momentum and speed more consistant. Before, while in cruis control it would loose speed and RPM's before downshifting on a hill, and make it very difficult to regain the speed.

So, bottom line, I am very pleased with the Wait4me flash.

I am starting to hear more about this wait4metune. What is it exactly and how much does it run?? If you could hook me up with a link to find more info I would greatly appreciate it. I have a 2000 silverado 2500 4x4 with the 6.0 that gets about 11mpg :wtf: . If this thing can bump that up a little without losing any horses this might be worth me looking into. :shakehead:

Howdy,

I think it was less than 2 weeks. Jesse is pretty fast. Still impressed with the tune. Man, if you floor it at about 30 mph it will really shove you back in the seat. If you keep your foot in it it will wind up to 5,800 rpm before it shifts. It really wakes it up. Have a goodun!!!

Hey guys, I just found this site. I have been on the Avalanche club owners site for a while na just went on April 22 over to a Meet in Indy. and Got a Jesse Bubb tune and got to meet hm. We had 25 Avalanches Tuned that day. You should check out all of the comments. I love mine. I got 19mpg on the way over to get my tune and 21.9 on the way back. With lots more Power! I love my tune and Jesse is the most knowlageable (sp?) person I have ever met. I am super impressed. check out the www.Chevyavalanchefanclub.com site and look for MEETINGS on the top of the page, then Click on INDIANA and look for the Jesse Bubb Tune links.

I learned so much. He also talked me out of a few of my Mods. Waste of Money!

Sorry, I tend to get long winded on the subject. Cool Stite Just had to give my 2 cents.

I recieved my tune from Jesse two or three weeks ago. I love it. Just as described by you guys. Higher shifts, seat of the pants feel flooring it a 30. I have left two black marks on the road when I nailed it at 30mph. This is with 265's in a 2500hd. I think that is impressive. I love the tune!!!!!!!

Jesse had a new computer sitting on my porch only 6 days after I ordered it, and that was after USPS shipped it to the wrong address at first. I have other mods which help but the tune is worth every penny. Best MOD yet!! I think I could run with the 1500's no problem now. :flag::bs:

Well after a few weeks sitting on the fence, I finally just ordered a tuned PCM from wait4me for my 2002 YukonXL.

Can't wait....I've heard some many positive comments. :banghead:

Got my tune in saturday. Not only does it knock you back when you floor it at 30, it does the same at 60. I felt like a little boy with a new toy when I put it in. :banghead: I'm quite happy with it.
