I've been putting up with Allison's BS for years. My family has been using them in over the road trucks sense the late 70'. Even if the trans was out of warranty Detroit would not let us up the HP on the trucks with out Allison permission. It was a fight but we got the HP upped but they limited us on TQ. Allison way over charges for parts too. Take for example, the out put yoke is made by Spicer. We can buy it from Spicer for $250 from Allison $1200. When Allison found out that people where buying the from Spicer they commandeered them all. Because Allison's over priced BS we have 6 new trucks on order WITH OUT Allisons! It will be the first time we had manuals in a truck for 30 years.
