Remote Starter on Duramax

Has anyone installed a remote starter on a 06 Duramax? How does it work?

I don't have one on my '05, but I read about them. They are tied into the glow plug light on the dash, so they don't crank the motor over until the light goes out.

I have one on my '05 Sierra HD. It works very good. I can also use it like a turbo timer by letting the truck run for "X" number of minutes before it shuts down.
