Grinding/Whining Noise

So I have this weird noise coming from the front driver's side wheel. It's only noticeable at lower speeds, but its almost like a whining/grinding sound.

 

The weird thing is, that if I turn to the right the noise goes away.

 

Truck is a 2003 Sierra Z71 5.3.

 

Anyone else have an issue like this, or have an idea what it could be?

Outer wheel bearing or perhaps the brake pad wear indicator rubbing the rotor? Jack it up on that side and see if you can diagnose a little closer.
