Couple Questions

Hello,

My 04 Silverado now has 53K and I'm wanting to change the tranny fluid and all that good stuff but I"m really leary in doing it all my own..... I have considered just taking it somewhere to get it done... Can someone give me a around about figure on what it will run to get the transmission fluid and all that replaced.... I do have the 4x4...

Also I got underneath the front part of the truck and greased all the fittings I could find on the front of it... Are there ones in the back that needs to be greased also and if so how many are there.

Also I see alot of people are commenting on the Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement - I took it to the dealer while it was just out of warranty and they replaced it for me and since 38K upto now I have not had one clunk or anything... I'm hoping it stays that way...

I had my 4x2 trans fluid replaced at the Chevy dealer and it cost me about $120.00. Not sure what a 4x4 will run. There should be 11 grease fittings on the front. The only one in the back is if you have a two-piece drive shaft there will be one on the center slip yoke. Hope this helps.
