The fronts are kinda a PITA (pain in the rear).  I changed out my rears in about 15 mins.  The fronts took an extra hand from my dad

Jim,  I ran the IAS shocks on my F250 and I loved them too...  They actually get better with some miles on them, so give them about 500 or miles and you'll be smiling even bigger  :D

Well for a while now I've been thinking of getting new shocks, the IAS sound good and now I'm really thinking of getting them soon.  How much did they run you?

Well there is two different kinds of IAS Shocks, THe Preformer and Twin Tube. I went with the Preformer model they run about 69 each so i payed like 280 with shipping from summit. The twin tubes are a little less 49 each. The only reason i went with the Preformer is because of the price. i wanted to best shock but both seemed to fit my usage.

Im really glad i put them on. When coming home from work i go down this hill with a nice bend in it. I usally have to slow down pretty slow, today i took it and my truck had to problem staying in the lines. Im scared to push them to see how much they improved handleing. But i recommend them.  :D

Jim if they are like the bilsteins they will improve with miles

Mine seem to really feel the best around 4K miles

That depends on which shocks you replace the stock ones with. I think thought that any premium brand shock (expensive) will show a big improvement over the stock. Replace the stock tires and you wouldn't believe the change in the ride and handling.

I installed my Edelbrocks and really enjoy the ride. I had a harder time installing thr rear shocks. I used duct tape to assist with installing the front shocks. The shocks have a band that goes over the top stud to keep the shock compressed. I wrapped duct tape around the shock and band, this allowed me to cut the band that goes over the top stud.

I installed the bottom of the shock first, lined up the shock, removed the duct tape and let the shock extend into the upper support.
