gas versus diesel calculator?

some time ago I saw a spreadsheet that you could use to compare the cost of ownership on gas or diesel. I'm shopping again for a new truck and am trying to come to terms with the cost basis. DOes anyone have this spreadsheet? If so, can you send it to [email protected]?

I remember someone having the spreadsheet and offering it to other members, but I can't remember what thread that was in. I do remember it was awhile ago though...

 

Just remember that fuel milage is not the only way to recoup your upfront money for the Dmax. Price out two identical '02 trucks on KBB or Edmunds (one with the Dmax and one not). You will see the Dmax holds quite a bit of it's residual value. Also you have to look at the resale... a Dmax with 125K miles on it will most likely sell alot faster than a gas motor because of the longevity of the motor. People aren't afraid to plunk down money on a diesel with over 100K on it (especially if its' clean)
