typical 6" lift cost

Im just curious what most of you have been paying to get a 6" lift done to your silverado's/sierras..

 

I did some research, and RCD, Rancho, and Fabtech seem to be among the favorite brands..

$1500 Do it yourself...

 

$2000-$2500 Installed is what i have found

Average lift (good quality) $15-1800 Average install $600-900.

 

As far as people workin on your truck. Go meet them, shoot the bull with them. If ya don't like them look for someone else. Catorgorizing one chain as good or bad is hard because they have many locations. It all comes down to people. Some mechanics suck some are great. Most are in between

BDS sells a great lift for right around $1300 and it usually runs between $500 to 600 for the install. At least that has been the case with the people that I know about and the BDS seems to be quite common. I have been told that it is very similar to the Fabtech in construction but you can't beat the BDS warranty.
