Silverado alarm goes off

Sometimes when I unlock the door on my 2006 1/2 ton, the alarm goes off, and then shuts itself off quickly. One time it didn not shutoff until I used the remote key fob to re-unlock the doors. I think it's related the 'security' system of my vehical.

 

I always use my key to unlock my door vs. using the remote key fob.

 

This has happened 2 or 3 times. Very annoying, espcially when it happens at night in my parking lot.

You have a 3 year 36000mi warrenty take it in for service.
