TSB For gas guage sending unit

Is there one. I have read of 100's of people having this problem.

If not - I have read some conflicting stories - about you have to buy both the pump and sending unit. Dealer cost is 400.

Other say they just got the sending unit for around 150???

My truck had the faulty fuel gauge since about 46,000 miles and I just used the trip meter to gauge my tank.

Since my truck was reaching 100,000 and hearing that the pump craps out at around 100,000 I went ahead and replaced the whole module.

Was able to get a brand spanking OEM off of ebay for half of what gmpartsdirect lets them go for.

My understanding is that you can just replace the "fuel gauge tank unit."

Depending upon your mileage you might want to think about replacing the whole module.

If you have one or two buddies it's real easy to chage out yourself and save yourself a bunch of $$$.
