I hear rumblings concerning diesel fuel here in Ca. and to expect changes in a month. Lower sulfer, but what else? I can only imagine higher prices but will the existing diesel engines be safe with the higher refined fuel? Is it just California trying to out law the diesel engine or is this country wide?

Yes, it is going to be safe. They are not making the same mistakes they did when they dropped the sulfur levels last time.

No, it's not a CA thing, it's the entire country. We were supposed to have ULSD already, but the oil companies didn't want to be bothered producing the fuel in time for the dealine, so it has been pushed back a few times. It will be everywhere this year.
