Had my truck checked out today

[2000 GMC]

Well took my truck to the dealer today. 2 things were checked out, first the rear windows for the whistling and the transmission problem.  

First now windows were ordered and will be replaced as soon as they arrive to weeks max.  

 

Second they told me my transmission is fine but they did find my fuel pump was acting up.  They replaced it and the fuel filter.  The service tech told me to drive it around and if it stills acts up to take it back in.  

I"m glad everything was covered under the warranty.

I'm glad they are going to replace the windows for you.  What was the prob with the fuel pump?  Did they say?

 

Also, there are several updates available for the tranny.  All the dealer has to do is look them up, and then download them to your truck.

Dealer said that the fuel pump was putting out 7 amps.  It should be higher.
