Filling holes in console

Recommended Posts

I have had my truck for a while...bought it used. The previous owner had a cb radio, and mounted it on the side of the center console, so there are 4 small screw holes there. Is there some kind of filler/putty that I can use to cover them up? Also, on the passenger side "OH S**T" handle that is above the glove box there is a cut in it that I would also like filled in. The color of the interior is that "natural beige" color or something like that. :D

Might be able to use a vinyl seat repair kit. I think some of the kits give you an embossing tool so that you can duplicate the grain of the vinyl...

x2 on the repair kit, although if the holes are larger, you might try to use a 2 part epoxy, or a bondo like stuff that will get nice and hard, filling the gap and bond to the vynl. (most likely an epoxy) you can add some dye to match the color of the dash, and then trim it off to look flush.
